C-Labs.

Software Design and Development

Founded in 1988 in Kassel, Germany, C-Labs. has an 16year tradition of writing games and solutions at the front-end of Microsofts technologies. In 1996 C-Labs moved to Redmond, USA and continued these efforts. The founder, Chris Muench, was nominated a "Microsoft Most Valuable Profession" (MVP) in 2001 and is very active in the embedded and mobile community.

C-Labs has been working on various Software Projects some of which are:

Pocket-Jongg

A puzzle game for all Microsoft Windows versions. It was first released as "Tang-Jongg" back in 1992 as an Advertainment game on Windows 3.1. With every new version of Windows, C-Labs has updated Tang-Jongg and in 1996 it was one of the first games shipping on the "Pegasus" Windows CE 1.0 handheld device (the Casio A-10).

Now Pocket-Jongg is available for all Windows CE based Handheld and Pocket-PC devices such as the Palm-size PCs, Handheld PCs, HPC2000, Pocket PC 2000, 2002 and Pocket PC 2003, as well as all Smartphone Generations (SP 2002 and SP2003).

On desktop-Windows, Pocket-Jongg is available from 16Bit Windows 3.1 to Windows XP, in the latest generation 4.0 using managed Direct3D version 9.

Delta-Base

A rapid development platform based on a multidimensional Database. This product was shipping in 1988 for the Amiga and shortly after for MS-DOS based PCs. C-Labs created windows version of Delta-Base but it was never published.

SelfSurveys.com is a high scalable online survey engine build for high volume internet based surveys. Running on the latest Windows 2003 server architecture, SelfSurveys.com has achieved several Microsoft Logos including ".NET Connected" and "Certified for Windows 2003 Server Datacenter Edition". Universal Responses Corporation, the company that runs SelfSurveys.com has engaged with C-Labs in 2001 to build this site on the latest .NET Framework technologies.

Various games for the Amiga

Before C-Labs was formerly founded in 1988 C-Labs has published various games for the Amiga under the "Softgang" brand of Rainbow Arts. "Rocket-Attack", "Dr.Fruit" and "PTC" are three of these titles.
